Working as a freelancer – freedom, flexibility and meaningful projects in the language sector
As one of Lingsoft’s freelancer partners, you can utilise your expertise in diverse and interesting language projects on your own terms. You can work when and as much as you like, choose your own assignments and decide on your holidays.
As a freelancer, you can work as a self-employed individual under your own company name, as an entrepreneur or as a light entrepreneur. Being a freelancer is a good option if you are a language professional who enjoys independent work, is able to follow instructions and observe schedules, solve problems and always deliver high-quality work on time.
However, we won’t leave you on your own: Lingsoft’s service coordinators will support you throughout the project, and cooperation is seamless from start to finish. Our freelance partners work from home, use their own tools, and ensure that the working environment is secure.
Although Trados Studiois our main tool for translation work, we also use other tools like memoQ and Phrase. For subtitling work, the Subtitle Edit program is a suitable option. Freelancers purchase their own tools, such as a computer and the required software.
